My life is often marked by cups and mugs. New job, new apartment, the beginning of a new project - changes like that always mean that I'm getting a new cup for my morning coffee or midday tea break. Fragile beauty

My camera isn't fixed yet, so I browsed through some older photos and ended up with these. A little surprised how many of them I've taken. When you think about cliffs you think about something lasting and stable, however this sandstone is delicate and ever changing. River, rain, ice, trees, moss, human hand. So many traces, so many destructive powers. Fragile beauty and great inspiration I can't stop taking pictures of.

Spring flowers

This is the coldest week this winter. Frosty mornings with white columns of smoke over chimneys, blue skies, lots of sunshine and everything covered with white sparkling snow. There's something magical about it. Have you noticed that people become nicer to each other in such coarse weather?

Oh no

My camera is broken! This happened in the middle of taking pictures of my newest creations, so no new listings in my shop for a while.

It's so strange to write a blog post without pictures. Didn't even realize how important the camera has become! I've always loved photographing, but never actually thought how many pictures I take for my shop or blog. Now I even feel a little discouraged to create new jewelry until the camera problem is fixed. What's the point of making something I can't take pictures of?

New year, new earrings

Hi there! Hope you had a nice and joyous beginning of the year. Mine has been rather busy. And nice. And buried in the snow. Nevertheless I've made a few new earrings which are waiting to be listed in my shop. If the the black and olivine version seems familiar to you, then you may remember the earrings I made for my winter swap partner Jozefien. I liked the combination so much that decided to make a pair for my shop. Listing as soon as I manage to take more pictures than this one.
