My creative space

Among other enameling projects this week - new earrings for myself. A little bolder in size than the rest of my enameled earrings and an opportunity to test how these two enamels look when fused together. What you see here is beautiful rosey copper below clear enamel dipped in dark pink enamel. I love how the pink changes in different lighting situations - from purple like in this picture to almost lilac in bright daylight. The chances are good that these will become my favourite earrings this autumn.

This weekend I'm going to Stockholm again, so today's window shopping on Etsy just had to have some Swedish hint. Fika means coffee break, but drinking coffee isn't just about drinking coffee, especially when you do that with friends :)

Although I don't own any tiny tableware and food jewelry myself, I've soft spot for its cuteness. A cup of hot chocolate pendant by beadpassion:

My creative space

The plan for today was to retake some pictures for my Etsy shop, but we woke up to a rainy and rather dark day. I take my pictures in natural light and no sun, actually, is OK, but too many clouds are too many clouds.

An then (on the way to my post box) I saw it - black shiny car with millions of raindrops. Not sure what neighbours thought, but I absolutely enjoyed capturing the moment. Might lead to a new design in enamel. I can almost see it.
