September 29th is Miķeļdiena (Latvian for St. Michael's day) and traditionally it marks the end of harvesting, so it was very easy to pick the theme for today's window shopping on Etsy. Let's celebrate the autumn!

Monday, 27 September 2010
Hello Monday! The week on this blog usually starts with Monday moodboard, but today I'm in the mood for breaking the routines :)
My weekend was very productive and resulted in an entry for the European Street Team creative challenge hosted by staroftheeast. It has been ages since I took part in challenges, but the current theme was the kick I needed to work on something I had in mind for a while. Stripes!
Already listed in my shop.
Other entries are here.

Monday, 20 September 2010
Hello Monday! I'm not fully recovered from my cold yet and suppose this is the reason why I'm drawn to orange today - energizing, warm and spicy.

A cup of hot herb infusion is my best friend these days. Other things are in a little mess right now and postponed until my recovery from the cold.
Wishing you a healthy and nice weekend! See you on Monday!

Monday moodboard - creme brulee
Monday, 13 September 2010
Hello Monday! This is my palette for today. A moment before leaves turn into a yellow carpet beneath you feet, a moment before the sun climbs just half the sky and evenings get long, dark and cozy.

Thank you Etsy for bringing my Farewell to summer to the front page yesterday evening!
A few days ago (on Friday, to be precise) just before I was about to click away from Etsy I noticed that the beauties recently added to my favourites make a wonderful combo - a little eclectic mix of items in chartreuse, blue and orange. It looked so vivid that I just couldn't avoid making a treasury.
While seeing my treasury on Etsy front page is always exciting, it's even more exciting when someone makes a sale from it (check), it's a first front page feature for someone (check) and the treasury includes seller from Latvia (check). Hooray!

Happy weekend!
Friday, 3 September 2010
Before I sign off I just wanted to thank you for visiting with me here this week. Have a nice weekend!
P.S. As for the necklace from yesterday it got a little stuck because I decided that it needs one more enameled square. A little enameling led to some more enameling. Promise to show you the finished necklace next week.

Necklace in making. Had to tame that black enamel a bit to make it look like I wanted it to be.

Thank you Catherine!

This was such a nice surprise! While I was away my White and green candies made to front page again. Many thanks to catherinereece for curating this lovely treasury. Her shop is one of my favourites on Etsy and her Nesting pinwheel bowls always make me smile. Love them!
I'm back
I'm back from my short break in Stockholm. The rain didn't allow as much photo shooting as initially thought, but we had great time anyway including some touristy sightseeing as the photo above proves it.
As you see I visited Olle again (the photos from June are here). A boy looking at the moon is the smallest public sculpture in Stockholm and one of my favourite spots to return to.
It's nice to be back, but there are loads of things to catch up with now.
