Purple and emerald
Tuesday, 30 August 2011
On Thursday I showed you these in the making. Today I waited for the right light to photograph the finished earrings. It was one of those days when clouds literally run across the skies and light conditions change every minute.
Glossy purple enamel on copper half circles, small emerald green glass beads with copper finish and handcrafted copper findings. New pair of Nomad Girl Earrings. The colours are a little muted and not as bold as usually.
They are smaller and lighter than it may appear - the half cirle is just 1 inch (2.5 cm) bright and the beads are tiny. There's a lot of motion - I love how they swing with every turn of the head.
Already listed in my shop.

My creative space
Thursday, 25 August 2011
This is how everything looked like before I lighted the torch.
These will become earrings. I must confess my current obsession is emerald green.
These don't look so nice. See the cracks! I think they cooled down too quickly. Enameling is a rocky road to learn more patience.
For more creative spaces have a peak at Our Creative Spaces page. It's fun!

August pleasures
Friday, 19 August 2011
One of the things I love about August is blooming heather. Along with mushroom picking and scent of ripe apples. And many colours and shapes of gladioluses. My grandfather was very good at growing them.
This week my mom made some cowberry and apple jam. She's very good at it.
Love how the summer slowly turns into autumn.
Wishing you a nice weekend!
P.S. And I'm very good at not showing you what I work on currently. But this will change next week. Promise!

Monday moodboard - I'm back
Monday, 15 August 2011
Hello Monday!
It's time to get back to regular blogging and no, I'm not in the middle of some entomological crisis. These items just popped up while browsing the creations of European Street Team members and I thought it would be fun to put them together. Just because.

I'm still there
Tuesday, 2 August 2011
I'm sorry for my unannounced absence from this blog. Life has been hectic lately - cousin's wedding, family reunion, making custom jewelry, Etsy orders...
Haven't had a time to notice that sweet peas ar blooming. Love their scent...
I hope you're having great time too!
